Before you start saving
What is MiStuff?
MiStuff is where you keep the things you find and think of: Reel Box holds your videos, LinkPad holds your links, and Jotter holds your notes and lists.
What is Reel Box?
Reel Box lets you save your favorite videos (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, video files, and more when sensitive content is on) into folders, and keeps playing them in a mini player while you browse.
Is MiStuff free?
Yes. MiStuff is free for every miSocial member.
Which video sites does Reel Box work with?
YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and Twitch, plus video files and more. Paste a link and Reel Box recognises it.
Does Reel Box download videos?
No. It saves the link and plays the original through the site’s own player, so you save and watch in one place without downloading anything.
What about the creators?
The player plays the creator’s original upload through the site’s own player, the same video you’d find on the site itself.
Does the video stop when I leave the page?
No. It keeps playing in a small player in the corner while you browse miSocial, from where you left off.
Can I sort my videos?
Yes. Make folders, save straight into the folder you have open, and move videos with the folder button on each row.
Why no folders or tags in LinkPad?
On purpose. There’s nothing to organise or maintain. Search across titles, sites and notes finds what you need.
How many notes can I keep in Jotter?
As many as you like. Notes are unlimited.
How do I know which note is newest?
Every note shows when it was last updated, and the stamp refreshes whenever you edit it.
Are my notes scanned for ads?
No. There are no ads scanning your lists, your data isn’t sold, and miSocial doesn’t track you across other websites.
Can I draft posts in Jotter?
Yes. Write and polish a post as a private note, then use “Post it” on the note to open the post editor with your draft filled in. Nothing is published until you submit it there.
How do I save from other websites?
Put the Save to MiSocial button in your browser once, then use it on any page. On your phone, use Share. You choose whether the page goes to Reel Box, LinkPad or Jotter.
What is MiSaved?
A place to keep the posts and media you’ve favorited from around the platform. Tap the save icon on a post and it shows up in your MiSaved grid.
Who can see what I save?
Only you. Everything in MiStuff is private to your account.
Will what I save be used to target me with ads?
No. Your data isn’t sold, and miSocial doesn’t track you across other websites. Ads are kept minimal, never intrusive.
How do I add a video?
Copy the video link and paste it into the box at the top of the Reel Box page. It saves right away with its own title and picture. You can also use the Save to MiSocial button in your browser, or Share from your phone.
Can I organize my notes into lists?
Yes, Jotter supports both freeform notes and lists so you can organize things however works best for you.
Stop losing the good stuff.
