Trade You For is miSocial's member-run swap shop, free for every member. Listings are for trade, not just sale: post what you have and what you'd take for it, and members make offers. It's a curated, members-only space, free of anonymous listings and bots.
“I'll trade you…”
Pick something to trade, add cash if you like,
then make the offer.
Illustration only. Sample listings and a sample member, not real items.
You've got a tent you never use and you want a skateboard. The big marketplaces make you sell one, buy the other, and wade through anonymous accounts and bots along the way.
Every listing says what the owner would take for it, so you know right away if you've got a match.
See the item and read the details before you offer. No guessing from a blurry thumbnail.
A price gives context, or sets up a cash-plus-trade: “my chair plus $20 for your desk.”
Each listing shows where it is, built for in-person swaps and local pickup.
Offer an item, cash, or both. The owner can accept, decline or counter.
Trade a bike tune-up for a haircut, or a logo for a lesson. Not everything worth trading sits in a garage.
Add a photo and description, what you'd want in trade, a category and price, and your pickup area.
Members offer an item, cash, or a bit of both. Counter until it feels fair.
Pick a public spot, check the item, and make the swap in person.
Trade You For is free, but only miSocial members can list or make offers. That is what keeps it free of anonymous listings and bots, so everyone you trade with is a member who chose to be there.
No intrusive ads. miSocial keeps ads minimal and favours memberships, donations and partnerships.
Common sense, written down. These three habits keep trades friendly.
Yes. Trade You For is free with a miSocial account. Only members can list and make offers.
That's the whole idea. Offer something you own, offer cash, or mix the two. The listing's price is there for context or to set up a cash-plus-trade.
A photo and description, what you'd want in trade, a category and price, and your location so members know it's a local pickup or in-person swap.
You and the other member agree on it together, usually an in-person swap. Trade You For is where you find each other and agree the deal. It doesn't handle payments or delivery.
Meet in a public place, inspect the item before you hand anything over, and never send money for something you haven't seen. If a listing or message feels wrong, report it under miSocial's public content policy.
Anything illegal, unsafe or stolen, plus anything else the miSocial Terms rule out.
Trades are agreements between members. miSocial isn't a party to them and doesn't guarantee items, payments or outcomes, so use the safety tips above and trust your instincts.
